Piazza Navona

Very hot today for bears. Caught the bus to the Piazza Navona. Many tourists marching through following their flag wielding guides (noticed one guide carried Goofy on a selfie stick – how the famous fall on hard times.). Hope they had time to stop and view the three fabulous fountains ( bit of alliteration there) 😉

Now a little info

In the centre of Piazza is the Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi (Fountain of the Four Rivers). It represent the most important rivers of the continents where Christianity had spread; the Nile, Danube, the Ganges and Rio de la Plata.

But I just liked the splash of the water as bears do.

It was a great place to soak up the atmosphere and watch the ‘world’ march by.
