Graceful grass awash with elegant lights.
Windows that are kissed with sequins, glisten.
Dainty webs shimmer like star-studded kites
While playful trees dance for those who listen.
The courting breeze with countless secrets told
Whispers around the beach in golden prose.
The ocean clutching more than she can hold
Bequeaths the shore her lavish treasure-trove.
Champagne clouds rejoice in a rich glass sky,
With taffeta and diamonds all around
And silver mirrors smash as cars go by.
Metallic are the rainbows on the ground.
And so the sun’s deep yoke is far from sight
But hear him kiss the lonely sea goodnight.
